PURPOSE:To automatically judge whether or not a selected tablet coincides with a specified brand and to discharge specified correct wrapping at all times at the time of automatically selecting and wrapping the tablet of the specified brand by an automatic tablet wrapping machine. CONSTITUTION:The tablet is color-photographed by a camera 1, inverse gamma correction is performed to the picture and then conversion to a gray picture is performed by using G components among RGB. Further, a tablet area inside the picture is corrected to fixed position and direction and a feature vector is extracted from the picture. As the feature vector, the density value vector of the picture is used. By using the feature vector and the 'Maharanobis' generalized distance' calculation formula of the specified brand stored in a directionary file 109 beforehand, 'Maharanobis' generalized distance' obtained. When the generalized distance exceeds a threshold value set by a user, it is judged that the tablet is the one of the specified brand. Also, judgement can be performed by converting the 'Maharanobis' generalized distance' to a probability and judging whether or not the probability exceeds a probability threshold value set by the user. |
