PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption of a power source especially in the state that a mobile terminal waits for a synchronizing signal for TDMA connection from a base station but is in the area, where it cannot communicate with the base station, with respect to the power control system for reduction of the power consumption of the power source of the mobile terminal in digital mobile communication of TDMA connection. CONSTITUTION:A power source part 35 is provided with a timer part 1 and a backup part 2, and the timer part 1 is started when the mobile terminal moves from the area, where it can communicate with the base station, to the area where it cannot communicate with the base station, and the timer part 1 sends the OFF signal to turn off the power source for terminal when the mobile terminal is kept in this area for a certain time or longer, and the backup part 2 makes the time part 1 continue counting for a certain time after turning- off of the power source. When the timer part 1 counts the certain time by the backup part 2, the ON signal to turn on the power source for terminal is sent to the power source part 35 to turn on the power source for terminal again. |
