<p>PURPOSE: To provide a laser scanner for reading a code, such as the bar code, etc., having a different reflectance. CONSTITUTION: A laser scanner incorporates laser beam sources 1 and 2 which emit laser beams for scanning a reading area 26 by means of a scanning means 9 and the scanning means 9 is constituted to hold the sources 1 and 2 in activated states while the sources 1 and 2 are focused on an area where a code exists and to generate a signal equal to a read code.</p> |
