CONTROLLING METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC TELLER MACHINE

PURPOSE:To improve the operability and workability of an automatic teller machine by shortening the time needed for each transaction by carrying out the control of discharging a medium in accordance with the medium reception pattern of each customer when each transaction is completed at and after the second transaction. CONSTITUTION:A card 9 is inserted to an input medium (card) reader mechanism 6, and a password number is inputted to an external input control circuit 5 through a key input part 8. A center 1 decides whether the card 9 has a transaction history. If the card 9 has no transaction history, the customer data are called out of a main storage 10 of the center 1. Meanwhile the customer data are called out of the storage 10 and sent back to a device 12 via a circuit device 2 if the card 9 has no transaction history. Then a medium discharge pattern proper to each customer is stored in a main control circuit 3. In reference to the card having a transaction history, a command is produced for discharge of each medium by the extraction pattern of each customer and based on the customer proper data received from the center 1 via the device 2.
