PURPOSE:To produce tangle paste low in salt content and keeping the color of raw tangle itself at low cost without using dry tangle. CONSTITUTION:Raw tangles collected from sea water are washed with water to remove salt components and foreign materials in the sea water adhering thereto and subsequently boiled in hot water of 100 deg.C for about 10min. Immediately after that, the boiling-treated tangles are put in cold water of <=5 deg.C and the cooled tangles are taken up and dehydrated. The dehydrated tangles are cut into about 5mm square and bagged in a prescribed amount each. The resultant bagged materials as an intermediate material are put in cold storage and the intermediate material is thawed in weakly alkaline-ion water. The dehydrated material is cut into fine pieces of about 1mm square by a cutter and further ground by a grinder, thus producing the objective paste-state finished material. |
