PURPOSE:To improve safety by a method wherein residual pressure is completely drawn out of the main body of a draft beer barrel when a fitting is removed from a faucet of the barrel. CONSTITUTION:Ports 27 for exhausting gas are formed to positions on the lower part of a faucet 4 in the direction intersecting the axis. While a fitting 26 is turned and removed out of the faucet 4 with threaded parts 6 and 7 unscrewed, the inside of the main body of a draft beer barrel 1 is made to communicate with the outside through the ports 27 for exhausting gas, and residual pressure in the main body of the draft beer barrel 1 is drawn out. When removing the fitting 26 from the faucet 4, the residual pressure in the main body of the draft beer barrel 1 can be drawn out completely. |
