PURPOSE:To perform safely and further surely releasing a safety device for preventing erroneous operation of an inflater. CONSTITUTION:An acceleration sensor 32 is arranged in an inflater 12, to protrude a release pin 34 from inside the acceleration sensor 32, also to connect a release plate 36 to this release pin 34. An opening part 46A of a lower cover 46 is closed by lids 52, 62, and these lids 52, 62 are connected by connecting parts 58, 68. The release pin 34 is inserted in a hole formed by connecting the connecting parts 58, 68 of the lids 52, 62, and the release plate 36 is pressed down, by the first connecting arms 58A, 68A and the second connecting arms 58B, 68B of the lids 52, 62, and moved from the first position to the second position.
