<p>PURPOSE:To accurately discriminate two kinds of papers and to realize recording fitted to paper by providing a hopper capable of being loaded with two kinds of rectangular papers having sizes similar each other and changing the reading direction of a memory corresponding to the long side direction of the papers on the hopper to generate a recording signal. CONSTITUTION:The hopper 1 in an electrophotographic apparatus can be loaded with first paper having an A4 size and second paper having a letter size similar to the A4 size and various papers are delivered one at a time by a paper supply roller 30 to be sent to a transfer part 23 through a guide 25 and a feed roller 26. At this time, in a control circuit 4, the reading direction of the image signal of a memory 3 having memory capacity corresponding to at least one page of a manuscript is changed corresponding to the outputs of switches 6, 7 detecting various papers and a laser beam emitter 8 is allowed to emit laser beam corresponding to the recording signal by a drive circuit 5 and the laser beam is reflected by a polygon mirror to be allowed to irradiate a photosensitive drum 20 to perform image recording.</p> |
