PURPOSE:To provide a feed paper cassette which is constituted to reduce a space in which a paper size detecting means is arranged and form an image forming device in a compact manner. CONSTITUTION:A paper position detecting means 15 having a plurality of elements 15a and 15b to be detected is interlocked with a pushing member 10 so as to correspond to the paper size detecting means 17 having a plurality of detecting elements 17a, 17b, and 17c by a moving amount far less than a displacement amount of the push member 10 making contact with the free end on a longitudinal direction of a paper sheet.
