Date Jul. 9, 1992.The invention concerns a means for measuring bearing capacity, comprising a drop weight (1), drop weight holding and releasing means (2), and a measuring apparatus (3). As taught by the invention, the means comprises a tubular body (4) inside which the drop weight (1) is provided to be movable; a loading plate (5) closing the lower end of said body; and an acceleration pickup (6) disposed to measure the movement of the body during impact.
