The present invention provides an attachment element for a shut-off valve which is provided with an actuating member which can move between a closed position and an open position, the attachment element comprising: - a gastight enclosure which can be coupled to the shut- off valve and which accommodates: - first converter means for converting a rotary movement of the actuating member into an axial movement of a transmission element; and - second converter means for converting the axial movement of the transmission element into a rotary movement for actuating an attachment-actuating member.
