The present invention relates to a method of and device for marking out lines for football pitches and the like on grass. The method is characterized in that a channel having a depth of approximately 1-3 cm, preferably up to approximately 2 cm, and a width of up to approximately 15 cm, preferably up to approximately 10 cm, is routed in the surface and that this channel is filled with lime or dolomite rock or similar pulverised material, after which the powder is smoothed out and packed by means of levelling plates (13) thereby producing a long-lasting line. |
