PURPOSE:To perform satisfactory recording at a desired track spacing by displacing at least one of plural rotary heads in the rotating axial center direction according to control signal. CONSTITUTION:It is detected by a detection head 15 and a magnet 14 provided to the revolving shaft 10 of a drum 4 that the rotary magnetic heads 2a, 2b of the same azimuth turning together with the drum 4 are turned in the position where recording on a tape 1 is accomplished by turning of the head drum 4 in a VTR, etc. As this detection signal is applied, the output of an FF 35 inverts, then the bimorph plate formed of a piezoelectric element, etc is driven by way of a bimorph driving circuit 44, whereby at least one set of head 2a or 2b out of two sets is moved in the axial center direction of the revolving shaft 10 by a required quantity. Hence, the recording tracks to the tape 1 by the heads 2a, 2b become of an accurate value of the desired spacing and satisfactory recording may be performed. |
