A thermoplastic material container (1) made in one piece e.g. bottle or pot, has a top end wall (3) with an opening (4) which is completely clear and bordered by a flat annular zone (3), and is associated with a thermoformed profiled cover (8). the cover (8) has a flat edge (8a), a flat base (8b) and a cylindrical lateral wall (8c) of external dia. adapted to that of the emptying opening (4) into which it engages with interference fit. The flat edge (8a) of the cover is heat sealed to the flat annular zone surrounding the opening and the cover is fitted with a pulling tab (9). The base (8b) of the cover is lodged inside the container. Also claimed is the prodn. filling and sealing process.
