Portable security barrier for windows and doors

The barrier is constructed from a robust material, and has a bar whose length can be both adjusted and secured. The bar is placed under a door or window handle, so that unauthorised entry is only possible with extreme difficulty. Strips of strong material can be fastened to the upper end of the bar, in order to prevent the handle from slipping off. The bar can also be fitted with a location groove on the end of a sliding bar section, and a spring lock and engagement holes to permit fine adjustments to the overall length to be made.
