Building wall with sound insulation panelling on solid wall

The panelling contains an outer panel (12) deposited on at least one softly resilient insulating layer (9) of upto 15 mm thick. It is of such structure that it can perform a certain bending on sound impact onto the outer panel. In the assembled state the layer has a dynamic shape strength of up to 15 MN/m<3>. The solid wall (5) comprises cavities with an air passage between them and the space behind the insulating layer. The wall is pref. of open-pore material, such as pumice concrete.
