ANTI-IGF-I MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY

摘要

An IGF-I-specific monoclonal antibody and an IGF-I assaying method utilizing the same without using any radioisotope. With respect to ELISA, a monoclonal antibody that does not react with IGF-II, insulin and proinsulin and reacts specifically with IGF-I; and an immunochemical method of assaying IGF-I by using the antibody. The antibody is useful as a reagent for the immunohistochemical study of IGF-I. The ELISA method using the same is an IGF-I assaying method having a clinically practicable sensitivity. Since no radioisotope is used in the assay, this method is effective in simplifying the IGF-I assay.
