Sealable, multilayer plastic foil (I) mainly comprises: (a) a base layer (A) 40-250 microns thick, consisting of a heat distortion-resistant polypropylene (PP)-based polymer with a m.pt. of 160-165 deg C., contg. a finely-divided mineral additive. (b) a middle layer of polymer (B) with a lower elastic modulus than (A), a m.pt. of 160-165 deg C and a thickness of 20-100 microns. (c) a sealing layer of PP-based polymer (C) with a thickness of 40-10 microns, contg. an additive which reduces the m.pt. to 110-140 deg C..
