<p>A toe piece for a ski binding comprising a binding member (1) and a toe clamp (2) with two side flanges each of which is pivotable about a substantially vertical axis. When pivoting about its axis, the toe clamp (2) or the toe clamp flange exerts a torque on a lever (6) pivotably mounted about a pin (7) and hingedly connected to the end of at least one spring (9) of which the other end is hingedly connected to a fixed point in the binding member (1). The release setting may be adjusted by operating a movable member to change the ratio between the distance from the lever pin (7) to the point at which the spring return force is exerted on the lever (6), and the distance from the lever pin to the point at which the clamp force is exerted on the lever (6).</p> |
