<p>A firing grate is proposed for incinerators, especially for the combustion of refuse, and consists of rows of grate bars (12),(19) lying one behind the other like roof tiles, with grate bar supports (1),(20), every other one of which is mounted on a carriage (2) which has motive drives, situated on both sides outside an under-grate blast region of the firing grate and having a fluid cylinder (9) and axles (7) which move the carriage (2) and which project through a slot seal (10) on one wall (5) of the incinerator, with all the drive members acting in the direction of advance of the grate bars (12). …<IMAGE>… </p> |
