[Also in Division H4] A device for projecting a configuration on a carrier simultaneously on to a projection screen and a pick up screen of a television camera said screens arranged on different light paths comprises said carrier, a projection lens, a spherical concave mirror (which may be completely transparent) and a television camera objective so arranged that the optical path distance between each of the two lenses and the mirror is equal to the radius of curvature; the carrier is spaced from the projection lens at least by a distance equal to the focal length. Several embodiments are described in which plane mirror(s) (fully or half silvered or transparent) are used to deflect the various light beams. The surfaces of the plane mirror(s) may be inclined to each other by an angle of less than 3 degrees to prevent a double image being formed and a positive correcting lens may be placed near the camera objective. |
