PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. which has excellent (continuous) moldability and mechanical strengths and gives molded items having excellent weather resistance, surface smoothness and whiteness, by blending a specified saponified ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer with glass fiber and ZnS. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. in total of 90-30wt% saponified ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer having an ethylene content of 20-60mol% and a degree of saponification of not lower than 90mol% and 10-70wt% glass fiber (e.g., chopped strand) is blended with 0.01-3pts.wt. (e.g., commercially available ZnS pigment). |
