PURPOSE:To enable the dispersion in the welding position of a T-type stud to be absorbed, when a roof molding is fitted via a clip fitted to the T-type stud, by constituting the clip both from a fitting clip to be fitted to the stud and from a retaining clip for retaining the roof molding. CONSTITUTION:When a plurality of T-type studs 4 are welded at regular intervals on the bottom wall surface of a fitting recessed groove 3 defined in the superposed welding part of a roof panel 1 and a slide panel 2 on the breadth-directional both sides of the upper roof surface of an automobile, and then a roof molding 5 is continuously fitted to the fitting recessed groove 3 via clips fitted to respective T-type studs 4, first, the base plate 11 periphery of a fitting clip 10 is placed on the guide parts 23 of a retaining clip 20, and respective engaging claw pieces 13 are engaged with the lower opening periphery of a fitting hole 22, so that both clips 10 and 20 are integrated. Next, after the stepped part 14 of an engaging long hole 12 has been engaged with the T-type stud 4, the curved engaging parts 5a of the roof molding 5 are engaged with the respective engaging parts 25 of the retaining clip 20 respectively. |
