PURPOSE:To stably operate a battery for a long time without sealing the Na supplying hole of a safety tube and without lowering the charging/discharging efficiency of a battery. CONSTITUTION:A semi-spherical and round bottom part of a safety tube 3 of a Na/S battery is formed into an acute conical projection, and a Na supplying hole is provided at the center thereof. A cover is fitted to the Na supplying hole 9 part, and a Na flow hole is provided in the upper side thereof to prevent the direct intrusion of the impure material in the Na 7 into the Na supplying hole 9 of the bottom part of the safety tube 3. |
