PURPOSE:To provide the subject method and system therefor so designed that, in the case of gas feed shortage from the liquid phase alone due to increase in the use of gas, the amount corresponding to the shortage is fed automatically from the vapor phase to omit the troubles of valve operation and save the maintenance cost for the system. CONSTITUTION:This stable petroleum gas feed system A has the following scheme: vessels 1 to hold liquefied petroleum gas are provided; the main flow line 2 comes out of the liquid phase L of each of the vessels 1 and a sub-flow line 3 comes out of the vapor phase G. The main flow line 2 is equipped with a liquid reducing valve 4. The downstream side of this reducing valve 4 is equipped with a vaporizer 5. The downstream side of the vaporizer 5 is equipped with an orifice 6. The sub-flow line 3 is equipped with a gas reducing valve 7. The downstream side of the gas reducing valve 7 is equipped with such a control valve 8 as to enable gas to be fed at a set pressure therethrough in the case the gas pressure on the exhaust side gets lower than the set value. The terminal end of the sub-flow line 3 is made confluent with the downstream side of the orifice 6. The downstream side from the confluence part 9 of the main flow line 2 and the sub-flow line 3 is equipped with a gas holder 10, and a gas reducing valve 11 for a service gas pressure is set up on the further downstream side of this gas holder 10. |
