Vehicle switch lever operating sensor

The vehicle switch lever operating sensor (7) is connected to at least a control device for the motor-, gear-, and/or clutch control. The sensor has a housing with an axial borehole. A touch element is arranged at the end of the housing loaded by a spring. The touch element partially projects from the housing and is in contact with a switch pin. The touch element is operated by the electrical switch contact. The sensor can be used with it's touch element as a ratchet component for a switch shaft (6) provided with switching teeth.
