Screw fastener for reactor vessel

The screw fastener (1) is securely linked to an extension piece (6) by an outer clamp sleeve to enable a servo drive to couple to the screws. The coupling sleeve has an inner profile to move coupling segments in and out of engagement with the outer profiles of the screw fastener and the extension. The sleeve is applied in a simple twist action via a remote control servo drive. The grip sleeve has lipped ends to grip the fastener and extension. Grooves on the inside of the coupling segments grip ridges on the fastener and on the extension for a secure tensile grip.
