The device is for the redn. of the air humidity in the passenger accommodation of a road vehicle, esp. a vehicle low on output heat. It has a housing connectable to an input air channel and an output air channel of the passenger accommodation. In the housing there is a side air chamber (12) and a central main air chamber (11). The side air chamber is sepd. from the central main air chamber by a wall member (14) made of moisture binding material through which air flows. A second side air chamber (10) is arranged, which is sepd. from the central main air chamber by a second wall member (15) through which air flows and made of moisture-binding material. For control of the air vol. flow in each air chamber there is at least one air flow control member (7,8,9).
