The chair seat cushion is not more than 40 centimetres long and is movably located on a chair seat (21) to a position immediately below the users hip joint (48). The cushion upper thigh supporting surface (11) can be placed at a height of at least 15 millimetres above the chair seating surface between the cushion and the chair, with the users calf not contacting the cushion front edge. The seat front portion can be moved vertically in relation to the rear part between two position. In one position, the top surfaces of the two parts lie on a common plane and support a part of the users weight. In a second position, the front top surface lies on a higher level than that of the rear part, the front portion supporting the greater part of the users weight. |
