<p>A predominantly paperboard pallet (10) comprises two longitudinally extending outer stringers (12, 14) made from a folded corrugated sheet (20) so as to have a lower panel (40) and six panels (42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52) on each side of a vertical plane bisecting the lower panel. On each side, an outer panel (42) extends upwardly and outwardly from the lower panel (40), an outer panel (44) extends inwardly from the upwardly and outwardly extending panel, to the bisecting plane (p), an inner panel (46) extends downwardly from the inwardly extending panel to the lower panel, an inner panel (48) overlies the lower panel (40) and extends outwardly from the downwardly extending panel, an inner (50) panel upwardly and inwardly to the downwardly extending panel, and an inner panel (52) underlies the inwardly extending panel.</p> |
