A heating unit, for heating synthetic fibres, has a heating body (3) of a material with good thermal conductivity with a section (4) to take the working profile (7) opposite a section (5) to be connected to the heater (6). The working section (4) of the heating body (3) is either a contact heating profile (7) or a radiant heating profile, or the working zone (4) is structured as a radiant heater.
