PURPOSE:To provide an ink jet recording sheet suppressed in the sudden curling toward an ink receiving layer after printing caused at the time of low humidity, that is, the curling after printing and excellent in loading properties after printing. CONSTITUTION:An ink jet recording sheet is obtained by providing at least one ink receiving layer on the single surface of a support and providing a back coat layer on the opposite surface thereof. The back coat layer of the ink jet recording sheet is based on hydrated halloysite and polyvinyl alcohol with a polymerization degree of 1000 or more and 5-20 pts.wt. of polyvinyl alcohol is added per 100 pts.wt. of hydrated halloysite and the air permeability thereof is set to 300sec or more. |
