PURPOSE:To prevent degradation in image quality generating by a change in the sizes and shapes of respective functional elements alone or a change in the sizes and shapes of connecting parts connecting the functional elements to each other occurring in a change in temp. and humidity by heating or cooling the functional elements, etc., according to an amt. at which the sizes and shapes of the constituting elements fluctuate, thereby forcibly managing the temps. thereof. CONSTITUTION:The respective connecting parts 34 are members of the same shape consisting of materials having a prescribed coefft. of thermal expansion. Heating and cooling elements 35 are heated or cooled to a prescribed temp. in accordance with the control signal from a control section 37, by which the connecting parts 34 are elongated, expanded and deformed and the distance between cases 31a are finely adjusted. The control section 37 controls the energization quantity to the heating and cooling elements 35 in accordance with the temp. detection signals from the temp. sensors 36, thereby adjusting the distances between the cases 32a to the value at a reference temp. The elongation and contraction by the temp. change of the opto-electric conversion elements 32 themselves and the change in the characteristics occurring therein are similarly corrected by the heating and cooling elements 35 fixed to the opto-electric conversion elements 32. |
