PURPOSE:To perform the cable fixing operations easily and smoothly. CONSTITUTION:A connector is structured so that a flat cable 5 inserted in a connector housing 1 is held in the slip-off prevented condition owing to the push-in motion of a sliding member 6, and the body 14 of a jig for fitting of the connector is provided with an operational piece 21 for the operator to conduct operations and a pressing surface 23 to apply an intrusive force to the sliding member 6. If the jig body 14 is turned in the condition that this pressing surface 23 is in contact with the sliding member 6, the whole sliding member 6 is intruded in the connector housing 1, and the flat cable 5 is secured simply. |
