PURPOSE:To realize an X-ray irradiation cylinder which features good operability and low electric power consumption, makes it possible to obtain a stable light quantity and is lightweight and small. CONSTITUTION:Voltage is inputted to a switching element 26 and the element is made conducting when a switch 21 is conducted by pressing. The source voltage of a battery 22 is then applied to an auto-trigger circuit 25, timer circuit 24, light source 23, etc. This timer circuit 24 outputs a high level right after the start of energization and drives a primary circuit 27, and further, drives a secondary circuit 28. Further, the prescribed voltage is applied to the switching element 26. The switching element 26 is held in the conducting state in spite of opening of the switch 21 when the secondary circuit 28 is once made into the conducting state. On the other hand, the timer circuit 24 outputs a low level after the prescribed time since the start of the energization. Next, the switching element 26 attains a shut off state when the primary circuit 27 stops and the secondary circuit 28 attains the shut off state. |
