PURPOSE:To produce a honeycomb core shaped metal catalyst with a simple process. CONSTITUTION:A plate and a corrugated plate are laminated and wound to produce a honeycomb core 1 and the core 1 is closely fitted in an outer cylinder 5 and the edge surface thereof is abutted on a stopper 6 and the stopper 6 is fixed to the outer cylinder 5 at a welding part 81 by irradiating it with laser beam and the honeycomb core is welded to the outer cylinder at a welding part 82. The welding parts 81, 82 are partially formed in the circumferential direction leaving space between them in the longitudinal direction. |
