A METHOD OF DEMON THE ENVIRONMENT OF UNIX OS

The demon method in a unix OS environment comprises the steps of; requesting a signal alarm of one second cycle to register a master timer and going to a timer function supplying state; if a timer start request is input from a timer use processor, checking the character of the required timer and then returning to the timer function supplying state; if a timer release request is input from a timer use processor, deleting the timer and then returning to the timer function supplying state; if a timer list search command is input, searching the timer list and then returning to the timer function supplying state; a signal alarm is input, revising all timers in the table; if the adjusted time is not "0", performing a time adjusting operation; and if an abnormal state is detected, deleting all timers.
