The nail clipper (3) has two branches (3a,3b) which are articulated round a horizontal axle (5). A leaf spring (8) is put between the branches to open the jaws (6). The lower branch (3a) is joined to a cap (1) by a vertical axle (2) and can pivot so that the clipper fits into the cap. The lower branch has a recess (7) in the centre which holds the spring. The end of the hole is circular (9) and one side has a curved opening (9a). The upper branch (3b) has a thicker part (3c), near the jaw, which holds the spring and it is slightly curved inwards. A file (4) is formed at the opposite end of the cap.
