Bread slicer with several, parallel blades in grating

The slicer incorporates a bread pusher (1) which protrudes into the interstices of the grating with a number of parallel slide strips (3) for pushing the cut bread slices from the grating. The pusher is releasably secured to a support member (9). The bread pusher is firmly located on an adjusting plate (6) which is displaceably fitted to the support for the pusher. Pref. threaded bolts (7) protrude orthogonally from the adjusting plate. They engage longitudinal holes or slots (8) in the support for the pusher and are secured by nuts. Threaded bolts (4) may protrude from the rear side of the slicer, engaging bores in the adjusting plate and the longitudinal holes in the support.
