An electrical assembly comprising a first component (10) presenting predetermined regions (A,B) secured to respective ones of corresponding connections (32) presented by a second component (30), the predetermined regions (A, B) being initially electrically connected to one another through at least one part (26) of the first component (10) which is capable of being broken so that the predetermined regions (A, B) would then be electrically connected to one another just through the second component (30), thereby enabling the electrical assembly to be small yet easy to manufacture.
