Nanocrystalline alloys based on nickel and their use for transport and storage of hydrogen.

摘要

A powder of Mg2-xNi1+x (x = -0.3 to +0.3), in the form of crystallites of less than 100 nm size, is new. A powder of an alloy of Ni with Mg, La, Be or Li, in the form of crystallites of less than 100 nm size and having a crystalline structure permitting hydrogen absorption, is new. Also claimed is a process for prepn. of the Ni alloy powder.
