<p>A shredding apparatus of the type comprising three or more rotating shredder rollers with parallel axes, each roller formed by a plurality of toothed discs with spaces between them, the discs of cooperating rollers being offset so that each can enter the spaces between discs of adjacent rollers, some of said rollers cooperating with curved grid sectors (26, 28) that are coaxial with the rollers themselves, is characterized by the fact that, coinciding with the generally lower pair of rollers (14, 16) rotating in opposite directions are situated curved non-perforated plate sectors (24, 25) coaxial with and with a greater radius than the rollers, and extending around them for an arc.
