PURPOSE:To discriminate a diagnosis result for the opening closing function of an opening closing device from a diagnosis result for other device to announce a result by a method wherein the opening closing function of the opening closing device is diagnosed at a first defrosting timing after turning ON of a power source. CONSTITUTION:A control device 10 for a refrigerator is caused to perform diagnosis of a motor damper (an opening closing device) 17 when it makes a first defrosting timing after turning ON of a power source. Even when a forced ON-signal for an abnormal pattern is outputted from a damper forced closing device to the control device 10 so that with a power source turned ON, the motor damper 17 is positioned in a closed position, and normality of the motor damper 17 is not announced through flickering of a monitor lamp 9 at a current point of time. This constitution announces a diagnosis result for the motor damper 17 at a special timing and announces a diagnosis result for the opening closing function of the motor damper 17 in such a manner to discriminate the diagnosis result for the opening closing function from a diagnosis result for other device. |
