PURPOSE:To provide a recording paper reusing method and a device capable of prolonging the life of reused recording paper on the whole. CONSTITUTION:In the recording paper reusing method and device, where the subsequent toner image is formed on the recording paper 3 subjected to toner image removal, use history recorded on the recording paper 3 is read by an image sensor 12, and the surface for the subsequent toner image formation is set so that the use histories on both sides of the recording paper 3 are equal to or slightly different from each other. The use histories on both sides of the recording paper 3 are recorded at least on its one side. The side of the recording paper 3 which is opposite to the toner removal side, may be set as the side for the subsequent toner image formation. Also, the condition of the toner removal side, such as residual image, is detected by an image sensor 12, and, in the case where this side cannot be reused, the side opposite the toner removal side may be set as the side for the subsequent toner image formation. |
