PURPOSE:To provide a typesetting processor which performs the processing, in which font data corresponding to characters to be outputted with the same font are outputted with different extents of character closing in one document, by easy operation. CONSTITUTION:Plural pieces of character-putting close amount for every font data are stored in a character-putting close amount table 14 which respect to each of fonts registered in a font storage device 1. A user sets text data, the composition processing, and character closing extent selection data which selects desired one from character-putting close amount stored in the character- putting close amount table 14. A composition processing part 7 performs the typesetting processing including the character closing processing of text data based on the character-putting close amount in the character-putting close amount table 14, which is selected by set character-putting close amount selection data, and the set typesetting instruction. The typesetting result is outputted from a display device 3 or a printer 4. |
