<p>A mobile music stand storage rack arranged to support a plurality of music stands (12) comprising an upper laterally extending panel section (18), a vertical support column (16) and a base (14) having support means extending outwardly from the lower end of the support column. The storage rack has a front end (32), a rear end (30), and a forward to rear extending longitudinal center axis. The rack has longitudinally extending, parallel upper guide rods (34) which support an upper portion of each stand, and parallel lower rods (36) to support a base of each stand. The upper and lower rods align the music stands along the longitudinal center axis. A pair of laterally spaced ground support wheels (41) constrained for rotation along horizontal transverse axes are located mid-length at the sides of the cart, and front and rear swivel mounted wheels (38, 40) are respectively positioned along the longitudinal center axis at the front and rear of the cart, to enhance maneuverability of the cart.</p> |
