The extractor (1) consists of a lengthwise body provided with supports and pulling or pushing screw (6,16) and two claw assemblies (7) of which the near end can be adjusted in position along the body and then fixed. It is characterised in that each claw assembly (7) contains two claw arm carriers (8,9) enclosing a claw arm (10). A guide pin (21) inserted in a common hole (26) holds the three pieces together in a perpendicular plane in relation to horizontal body (5). This is provided at one point along the claw assembly whilst at a second place is a knurl headed screw (11) provided to clamp the three pieces together and onto the body (5).
