The electromotor (1) has a stator which has a cylindrical spool configuration (9) on a carrier plate. It also has a rotor with a rotor magnet on a hub (6). The rotor generates a field perpendicular to the axis of rotation (16) at its outer circumference (7a). The rotor encloses the spool configuration (9) with a bell-shaped hub part. The electromotor (1) has bearings (5a,5b,5c) for the hub (6) and a soft iron yoke (10). The spool configuration (9) of the stator is free from weakly magnetic parts and, on the outside, is surrounded by the yoke (10) formed as a cladding.
