PURPOSE:To prevent a positive electrode active material from deteriorating and improve the utilization factor by forming a heat generating agent with a mixture of iron powder as a reducing agent, potassium perchlorate as an oxidizing agent, and metal molybdenum powder as an additive agent. CONSTITUTION:For a heat generating agent, potassium perchlorate as an oxidizing agent and metal molybdenum powder as an additive agent are added in addition to iron powder as a reducing agent. According to this constitution, when the heat generating agent 8 is burnt, excess iron powder and metal molybdenum powder form a corrosion-resistant iron-molybdenum alloy at a high temperature. Accordingly, the side reaction between the heat generating agent 8 and a positive electrode 3 hardly occurs, the deterioration caused by a high- temperature discharge can be prevented, and furthermore the utilization factor can be improved. |
