Apparatus for supporting and moving around an incapacitated or partially incpacitated person includes a frame 1 on which the person can be supported when the frame is in an upright position and a curved section 5b at the bottom of the frame, with wheels 11 spaced forwardly and apart from this curved section. From the rest position of the apparatus with the wheels off the ground the frame can be rotated forward about the curved section 5b in a rocking motion to bring the wheels in contact with the ground for moving the frame around (Figure 3 not shown). Knee supports 8, a trunk support 9, head support 16, and handles 17 are provided for the person. A foot plate 19 enables the operator of the trolley to tilt the trolley from the rest position. <IMAGE> |
